AUDIOLOGY & HEARING SERVICES
HEARING ASSESSMENTS

At our practice, we conduct a comprehensive diagnostic hearing test to evaluate your hearing health auditory system function. The process starts with a case history and ear examination for blockages such as wax build up or other debris. We also perform tympanometry to assess middle ear function and acoustic reflex testing to evaluate muscle response to sound. Finally, we test your hearing sensitivity through pure tone audiometry (sounds at different frequencies and intensities) and speech audiometry (determine word understanding at different volumes), allowing us to provide tailored care and solutions for your lifestyle.
MIDDLE EAR TESTING -TYMPANOMETRY

Tympanometry is a simple test that assesses middle ear function, particularly eardrum movement. It works by gently applying air pressure into the ear to see how well your eardrum, responds.
This helps audiologists detect issues such as fluid behind the eardrum (like with ear infections), perforations, or problems with middle ear bones and the Eustachian tube.
It's painless, causing only mild pressure or a soft tone for a few seconds.
HEARING AIDS
Fitting hearing aids at our practice is a personalized journey rather than a one-time appointment, involving you and sometimes your family. It starts with a detailed assessment of your hearing profile and needs, followed by selecting the right product from a wide range of options for your budget and lifestyle. We then program the devices to match your hearing profile and provide follow-up sessions to fine-tune settings and to assist you with the process of adapting to new sounds. Our goal is to help you confidently reconnect with the world and maintain long-term independence.
OAE TESTING FOR NEWBORNS AND BABIES

Otoacoustic Emission (OAE) testing is a quick and gentle way to assess a baby’s inner ear (the cochlea) function. A soft tip is placed in the ear to play clicking sounds and measures the ear’s response or “echo.”, which indicates whether their hearing cells are functioning normally. A clear response usually suggests good hearing. If not, it doesn’t always mean there’s a hearing loss — sometimes fluid, movement, or noise can affect the test. In that case, the audiologist may repeat the test or do another simple hearing check to be sure everything is okay. It doesn’t hurt at all (most babies sleep right through it!)
CHILD FRIENDLY HEARING

Our practice offers gentle and playful hearing tests for children. We use Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE) for babies, Visual Reinforcement Audiometry (VRA) for toddlers, Conditioned Play Audiometry (CPA) for pre-schoolers, and standard headphone tests where they raise a hand or press a button when they hear a tone for school-aged children. Each method is designed to make the experience enjoyable and stress-free.
HEARING AID MAINTENANCE
We understand how important your hearing aids are in keeping you connected and confident in daily life. Our troubleshooting and maintenance services ensure they perform optimally, whether your hearing aid require a quick clean, new tubing or sound quality checks. For complex repairs, we’ll send your hearing aid to the manufacturer for professional servicing and keep you updated. Additionally, we offer guidance on routine care to help you maintain your hearing aids at home ensuring they remain comfortable, reliable, and long-lasting.
CUSTOM PROTECTION, SLEEP & SWIM PLUGS

We provide custom ear plugs for comfort, safety, and ear health, including swim plugs, sleeping plugs, and hearing protection. Each pair is individually crafted from a quick ear impression for a perfect fit. Swim plugs prevent water entry; sleeping plugs reduce noise for better rest. Hearing protection is designed for those in loud environments (such as musicians, motorcyclists, or industrial workers), ensuring comfort while keeping important sounds audible.
TINNITUS THE NOISE IN MY EARS

Tinnitus is the perception of sound in the ears or head when no external sound is present, described as ringing or buzzing, hissing, or roaring. It can result from several factors including: Hearing loss, loud noise exposure, ear problems, medical conditions, or certain medications. While there is no single cure for tinnitus, various treatments and management options can improve the perception and effects thereof.
